- Planning an event with consideration to the triple bottom line (TBL) of people, planet and profit across all facets from selecting a venue to hiring caters
- Delivering and evaluating the event to ensure sustainability objectives are met and improved upon for future events, including measuring long-term impacts
- The broader issues impacting sustainability, including social and economic factors

With in-text learning features such as learning outcomes, reflective questions, interviews with event managers and practitioners and a glossary of key terms, this textbook will allow students to plan and deliver successful events that are green and sustainable. About the authors

Hugues Séraphin is Principal Lecturer for Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management at Oxford Brookes University, UK.

Emma Delaney is Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey, UK, where she is the co-director for teaching and learning.

Chris Smith is Senior Lecturer in Event Management at the University of Winchester, UK. He was previously General Manager of the Guildhall Winchester, and continues to be involved in the management of festivals and events across the UK.

Vanessa Gowreesunkar is Associate Professor in Tourism at the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur, India.
