Your Health at Work
An indispensable guide to physical and mental wellbeing
Trade Union Congress
Kogan Page
3 September 2018
Paperback, £14.99
Kogan Page and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have co-published the first edition of Your Health at Work following the long-standing success of their first co-publishing venture with Your Rights at Work.
With the average retirement age steadily increasing and working hours spilling beyond the 9 to 5, the population is spending more and more time at work. Last year, 1.3 million workers suffered from work-related ill health and 526,000 workers were diagnosed with work-related stress, depression or anxiety [1].
Your Health at Work aims to reduce illness and workplace injury by addressing physical and mental health challenges, how to prevent injury and harm, plus advice on dealing with health-related issues and discrimination.
Speaking about the collaboration, Helen Kogan, Managing Director at Kogan Page, said: “Employee health is an important matter. We’re proud to be building on our co-publishing relationship with the TUC to promote employee wellbeing and aid those who are, or are at risk of, suffering from workplace injury or harm.”
Covering the full range of industries, Your Health at Work provides practical guidance and shares stories of real workers who have encountered health issues in the workplace.
