Kogan Page launches online training courses
Kogan Page is launching a new online training course venture called Kogan Page Online Learning.
The venture will see a number of online courses developed both in-house and in partnership with professional associations, providing academics and practitioners with exclusive digital content to support their studies and develop their skills set.
The first interactive course, ‘Statistics for Research’ will be in partnership with the Market Research Society. The course is for practitioners new to working with statistics, as a refresher or in preparation for the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice.
Commenting on the launch of the course, Kogan Page m.d. Helen Kogan said: “As we celebrate 50 years of independent publishing, Kogan Page is excited to launch the new venture to support professional development and workplace skills. We’re also delighted to be collaborating with MRS on what has been a unique project for us. 'Statistics for Research' will equip users with the confidence and technical knowledge they need to advance as professionals in a rapidly evolving environment. The interactive online course represents a new approach for Kogan Page and is part of our ongoing commitment to developing best-in-class content that supports professional development.”
Jane Frost CBE, chief executive of MRS, said: “We are delighted to be working with Kogan Page to offer this exciting new training option. The course builds on our wide range of training and qualifications to strengthen expertise in a very important area for all market and social research practitioners. In the age of big data, a fundamental grounding in statistics is more vital than ever, and this course will give a wide variety of practitioners the confidence to deploy statistics effectively.”
